College/University Admission
English 4 credits Fine Arts 1 credit Social Studies 3 credits Foreign Language 2-3 credits (3 are preferred) Science 2-3 credits (must include one lab, 3 are preferred) Mathematics 3-4 credits (Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II/Trigonometry, 4 are preferred)
Note: These core requirements exceed high school graduation requirements. Selected colleges may have further subject area requirements.

Applications for the public four-year Washington schools are available online.
For private four-year institutions within the State of Washington, and for out-of-state schools, students must contact the Admissions Office of the college for an application or go online for an application.
The Common Application
The Common Application is a not-for-profit organization that serves students and member institutions by providing an admission application - online and in print - that students may submit to any of more than 300 member institutions. Membership is limited to colleges and universities that evaluate students using a holistic selection process. Included in the Common App Online system is a:

Search Engine. Applicants may serch and find institutions that meet their precise specifications, and then compare, map, or add them to their My Colleges list.

NACAC Fee Waivers. Applicants may apply for a NACAC fee waiver online and immediately learn of their eligibility.
